Hello,

We have a small vineyard & farm in Portugal and we would like to introduce Southdown sheep for weed control.
The vineyard is 3 hectares (about 7 acres) and is hot and dry in summer. We would be interested in buying a ram and a small number of ewes for breeding purposes.
Are you interested in selling some lambs at some point in the coming year?

I recently came into possession of what I believe to be a print of the painting on this page. At the bottom it has the authors name in bold print and the word ” cyclades”. what does the word mean?

Hello all at woodhill cottage, I have just come across you web page. I have a collection of reg southdowns who are this years lambs white and coloured. they are small and teddy like , and i am hoping to breed them next year with my new little ram who is the son of two Babydoll southdowns who came from Canada .
As i am sure you know finding southdowns of this original size and breed are very rare , so i am serching the country to find someone who has these southdowns that are more old original that the larger breed of today. from your pictures yours do look more like this , so i wondered of you have any small ewes for sale . for me to start the breeding program this winter. Hello

Heard a cuckoo near prey heath Woking whilst doing my gardening job! My first and so happy I had to call my partner at work!

Also saw for the first time a hen harrier swooping and basically showing off over field whilst out at wisely gardens on Sunday. Again very pleased
