Surrey Hills Llamas at The Merry Harriers

The Merry Harriers HambledonWe went to see some old friends this afternoon. For a while the Surrey Hills Llamas lived in the field behind the pond at Woodhill Farm house. A couple of years ago their owners Colin and Julie bought The Merry Harriers at Hambledon and moved the llamas to the field behind the pub.

Colin and Julie have done a fantastic job renovating this charming, family friendly pub and this afternoon we popped down to see them and our old friends the llamas who were very enthusiastic to see us with our bag of carrots.

The big bonus at the Merry Harriers this afternoon was that they were running a beer festival. With countless real ales on tap, a jazz band, sunday roast, ice cream and some hot late summer sunshine this was a real treat.

Colin and Julie run regular walks and summer picnics with the Llamas and you can even book them for parties. [Click here for more] The llamas are friendly, funny and highly entertaining – we miss them here in Woodhill. It was great to see them today.
